The presence of a high-level U.S. delegation participating in the NATO “Security“ Conference presents an unwarranted and irresponsible risk to the residents of Munich. Members of the United States delegation are likely to be targets of retaliation that could kill a large number of additional people.
At this time, Munich is no place for the discourse between governments. We urge the organizers of the “Security” conference to find an isolated venue where only they will be at risk.
